Update on Moi

March 25, 2019

Hi everybody,

Ugh I know. It has been a while since I posted on my blog but hey, I've been busy.

I've had an extremely busy winter season running Out Of Our Heads Productions. I have been so incredibly grateful to find such a great team of hosts and actors all across the country including a new team in Victoria and Vancouver. This year embarked on my biggest challenge yet as an entrepreneur and writer. I was hired to create and produce a live interactive murder mystery escape game that was broadcast live with participants in 2 countries and 4 cities playing simultaneously. Well, I pulled it off, thanks to an amazing team of hosts, and a very fun group of participants! Now Out Of Our Heads has a new service available-The Murder Mystery Escape!

The comedy series "Joyology" that I wrote and directed is now available on Amazon Prime. It has also been honoured with laurels such as official selection at film festivals in the UK, Las Vegas and semi-finalist at Los Angeles Cinefest.

Book sales of both my books are going well and I'm happy to report my book, The Chem-Ho completely sold out of a store in Calgary. If you have not purchased a copy yet, what are you waiting for??

What's next?  I'm currently working on writing the second season of the podcast,Bad Advice. Last year focused on conversations with real people but this year, I decided to add in a little twist, scripted sketch comedy! I'm busy working with my friend Caroline whom I worked with at Tuesday Live Live and Joyology to create some hilarious sketches based on real life "problems" and the advice people seek.

And....Since games and trivia are a big part of my business and my life, I have strated working on a trivia show available on youtube and a downloadable app. It's called " I've Got Game". haha. Stay tuned!

I've also decided to focus more on my acting career. I've recently attended some great courses and worksops and it's really got my groove back. Whatever that means. I'm excited to see what this year brings.

And finally, a dinner theatre script I wrote back in 2005, is being produced at the Deerfoot Inn and Casino in Calgary.

As my mom says, " There is no moss under your feet" and I'd tend to agree. I'd also agree I need a pedicure...BAD!

Thanks again for catching up with me. I hope your world is filled with laughter, opportunity and happiness!

Until next time...

Ally
